OVERVIEW
SaltyCrax Backpackers Cape Town, South Africa is ideal for the watersports enthusiast. We are situated close to the beautiful white beaches of Blouberg and the famous Kite Beach. With a good supply of wind and waves and a variety of sailing locations, either for the eager beginner or the dedicated sailor, there is something for everyone. We have Sports, Adventure and Educational packages to cater for any type of person! With our custom made tours and packages we will make you feel right at home!
ACCOMMODATION
We have many different types of rooms at our Backpackers, its as easy as choosing one that suits you best. Our rooms and rates vary from room size to room size.
En suites
- Spacious rooms with wooden floors and built in cupboards with lots of luggage space.
- Private bath, shower and toilet.
- Clean linen and towels are provided.
- The room also includes a safe, heater, fan, fridge and TV.
Private Doubles, Triples & Family Rooms
- Rooms have either only a double bed or a double bed and a bunk.
- All rooms are private and include clean linen, towels, cupboards, a heater, a fan and a fridge.
Dorm Room
- All bunks have new ortho-care mattresses and clean linen.
- The dorm is mixed and has 2 en suite bathrooms and personal lockers.
BREAKFAST AND DINING
Communal kitchen
Complementary tea and coffee is always available in the fully equipped kitchen.
Bonfire area
Sit around the large bonfire area, swop travel tales and cook your food the traditional South African way: on the braai.
FACILITIES
We have all the facilities any traveller would need from an internet café to a jacuzzi to relax those travelling muscles.
Whether you want a lazy day or a busy one, it’s all here.
Internet facilities
Fast and reliable ADSL internet is permanently available in our Café. Contact home and catch up on your blog. The cost is R8 for half an hour.
Jacuzzi
This 9 women, 1 man jacuzzi is ideal to relax those muscles after an adventurous day. It is heated at night on request and reaches temperatures of up to 40°C.
Lounge & TV room
A flat screen TV with satellite access and a video machine – what more do you need for those stay-in days?
Zen Garden
Grab a book and relax under the palm trees next to the pond.
Laundry
A washing service is available, leave the dirty laundry with reception in the morning and hey presto we will give you back clean laundry in the evening(for a fee )
